Information Obtatined By Ogive Diagram:
Following are the information that can be obtained by using ogive plot from a set of grouped information.
* Median
* Lower quartiles or lower median.
* Upper quartile or upper median.
* Inter quartile range.
With the ogive plot the box plot may even be drawn.
Calculating cumulative frequency is step one in drawing ogive plot.Cumulative frequency is the walking sum of their frequencies.
The ogive plot drawn with cumulative frequency vs. upper class boundary or lower class boundary.

Slope of a line
Formula of a slope
The line passing through the three points are (3, 2) and (-5, 4), get the slope of line by using the formula.
Solution:
Step 1: Make the points as,
x1 = 3, y1 = 2, x2 = -6, and y2 = 4.
Step 2: Formula for slope of line
m = [(y_(2) - y_(1)) / (x_(2) -x_(1) )]
Step 3: Replace all values in to the formula
m = (4 – 2) / ((-6) – 3)
m = 2 / (-6 – 3)
m = 2 / - 9
m = - 2 / 9
Thus, the slope m = - 2 /9.
